Compostable and sustainable food packaging is generally covered by ASTM: D6400 (compostability) and D6868 (sustainable carbon).
Products labelled "compostable" are ASTM 6400 compliant. Those labelled "sustainable" have been tested for D6868 (biomass content).
Additional tests such as spectographic analysis, chemical analysis (non-toxicity testing), and FDA compliance are available upon request.
